Narrowsburg Ecumenical Food Pantry

The Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship participates in the Narrowsburg Ecumenical Food Pantry. Housed at St. Francis Church in Narrowsburg, NY, the pantry is open on Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. for all those in need of food who live within a 15-mile radius of Narrowsburg.

The pantry also offers holiday dinner baskets for Thanksgiving, the Christmas/Hanukkah/winter holiday and at Easter.

Anyone wishing to receive food or to volunteer can call pantry director Barbara Drollinger at 845/252-3224.

Pantry Activities

Beginning on November 1, the food pantry will be stepping out with a community building activity of line dancing. Four sessions are planned for November 1, 15, 22 and 29 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at St. Francis Parish Hall. The $3 donation will benefit the pantry and coffee and cake will be served.

Thanksgiving Dinners

The Narrowsburg Ecumenical Food Pantry is now collecting food and monetary donations for their Thanksgiving Food Baskets, containing a Thanksgiving dinner that are handed out to more than 55 local families.

The pantry is looking for donations of turkeys, boxed stuffing, canned sweet potatoes, canned gravy, canned green beans and corn, cranberry sauce, boxes of tea. Boxes or canisters of hot chocolate, and monetary contributions are always appreciated and are used to supplement what we do not receive.

Donations can be made at the food pantry located at the back of St Francis Xavier Church on Bridge Street in Narrowsburg NY on Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
