Sunday, February 14th, is “National Standing on the Side of Love Day,” and the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is celebrating a Valentine’s Day re-imagined with a community breakfast beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Berlin Township Community Center in Beach Lake, PA.
With stations for fresh French Toast and make your own omelets, the fellowship will explore expressions of love that are more than romance, greeting cards and chocolates, but speak to our greatest desires for peace, connection, meaning and understanding.
Participants are encouraged to bring words of wisdom, favorite writings and objects for a community altar, which speak to you of the power of love and sustenance in your life.
